Carrie Avery is the president of the Durfee Foundation, a family foundation based in Los Angeles, California. She serves on the Ethics and Practices Committee of the Council on Foundations. Carrie authored The Guide to Successful Small Grants Programs: When a Little Goes a Long Way, and serves on the boards of several community nonprofits.
