For a humble period of time, I’ve interacted with nonprofit executive directors, board members, and staff to share with nonprofits the practical wisdom acquired through working in the sector.
Long-time subscribers might recall that the Letter from the Editor was a regular feature of Blue Avocado. A little over a year ago, I had the novel privilege of reading your submissions, and shortly after, I eliminated these letters. This unilateral editorial decision was an obvious one: It was always far more important to hear from you, center your voices, and publish your insights.
I am writing to you now to invite you to share more of those valuable insights with nonprofits. Blue Avocado is introducing a new feature: interviews. Through our interview questionnaire, you can submit practical wisdom to share with nonprofit readership—. For those interested, the questionnaire is also a great opportunity to dust off and give life to any article ideas you have lying around that you believe would benefit the community. And, if the interview is published, your nonprofit will have a little exposure.
As you likely know, we’re a small team: I personally read every single one of your submissions. And with the same enthusiasm, I look forward to reading your interviews.
