I was looking to do some court ordered community service and was wondering how to go about that! Please let me know. Thank you!

My org partners with the County Sheriff’s Department through an agreement. The volunteer provides a form I complete, as manager of volunteers, to verify the dates and hours of service.
The agreement lists the charges we will not accept. For instance, we have a thrift store. So theft is not an acceptable charge. We do not accept any requests for Community Service without the County’s involvement. This way, they are already vetted.
And make sure your staff is prepared, trained, willing to provide a slightly elevated form of supervision if needed.
